OUR STORY
EVS was established in 2013 as a collaboration between Texas winemakers Kim McPherson and Spenser Igo, working with top growers of the Texas High Plains AVA. Each Windblown cuvee is a blend of the varieties that we feel thrive in our soils and climate, and showcase the Texas High Plains terroir. We work with family farmers in Terry County—the heart of our AVA—and hope to introduce single vineyard and parcel wines over the coming years. Currently our wines are available throughout Texas, Virginia, South Carolina, and New Jersey. The fruit is local, the people are local, and the wine is made here in Lubbock, Texas with heart. We believe Texas wines are world class, and hope to share with you the complexities of vintage, varieties that prospers on the High Plains, and what makes this part of Texas so special to us.
